American right-wing political analyst and host of a conservative talk radio show, Laurence Allen Elder was born on April 27, 1952. In California, Elder is the host of The Larry Elder Show.
The programme debuted as a local programme on Los Angeles radio station KABC in 1993 and continued there until 2008. From 2010 to 2014, the programme returned. The programme was nationally syndicated from 2002 to 2007, initially by ABC Radio Networks, and again from 2015 until 2022 by Salem Media Group. He continues to be affiliated with the Falun Gong organisation and The Epoch Times, a radical right publication.

Larry does not have children. Elder was married to a female doctor for two years who was also a lifelong friend. She wanted children, and he didn’t, so they were divorced in 1994.
Elder said that he had been accused of sexual harassment twice in 2011 episodes of his radio show and refuted both claims. In one instance, Elder said that the lady was too ugly for him to harass her sexually, adding, “You would have known that the image would serve as a perfect defence if you had really seen her. Just passing along.”
