Kim Kardashian Wants to Borrow Clothes from Madonna's Archive

Is Madonna's iconic fashion archive up for grabs, and if so, can Kim Kardashian please get in line?

Yesterday, the SKIMS founder posted a video on her Instagram Story of herself asking for a favor from the "Material Girl" singer. The virtual exchange was pulled from a teaser for Madame X: Madame Xtra Q&A, an addition to Madonna's Paramount+ documentary concert film, Madame X, which dropped on October 8.

"Okay, Queen Madonna, do you have all of your award show and music video wardrobe?" Kardashian says in the video. "And can I wear something one day?"

"That's so cute," the pop star replies. "Of course, I have an archive. It's in Brooklyn." She adds, "You have to wear rubber gloves to touch anything."

Madame X: Madame Xtra Q&A is expected to drop on Paramount+ November 18.

The original concert film followed Madonna on her last world tour, taking the name Madame X from her 14th studio album, which she released back in 2019.

“There’s a lot of moments where I talk to the audience, but we had to cut a lot of that down for time,” Madonna told The Guardian in September. “I love people heckling me or calling out, I love talking to them about what was going on in the world, whether it’s Donald Trump or a natural disaster. I loved having that back-and-forth. We capture it to a certain point but not completely.”

Earlier this year, Madonna also confirmed that another film project about her life is underway. The biopic (or "visual autobiography," as she told Jimmy Fallon) will be directed and co-written by her.

She said in a statement at the time, "It's essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision."
